Chip butties? Bung the bastard? A blogger named Buff? How could I not stop by for a visit. Now start writing, buster.
Start writing??? Yeah … well … I’m a fake! I admit it myself. The reason for the blog was to get my little old lady in a purple wheelchair avatar on to other people’s blogs and I did this. Especially for the other half of my life, my husband Ærchie and his Archive. And now I really don’t have a clue what sort of evolution this will take … maybe a political one … maybe not. Maybe an artists blog … in my dreams. Maybe a general comments blog … perhaps, although I’m bound to get into trouble if I do, and maybe a Genie blog … now, I’m a damned good genealogist but I’m fairly particular in what I do with this and maybe there wouldn’t be enough general interest to fill a daily blog.
Sooooo, til it comes to me … til I undergo an epiphany and get myself struck by a lightning bolt of inspiration, I will lurk quietly in the background and wonder at my temerity.
I run a blog on Yahoo 360° and I don’t put anything in there every day. It gets a mixture of things that I did, website updates when I put up pictures on my website, and book reviews – which are usually done in a batch just before I take the books back to the library. I often spread out posting them though.
I know one thing you could blog about that you haven’t mentioned… …the Herald crossword! Angst in eight letters and all that! 🙂
